The School was founded in 2019, as a direct offshoot of Downtoearth Marketing Services, an advisory and training consultancy with a vested interest in small business owners. The brain child of Boye Adefila, a playwright turned copywriter, the school features hands-on tutorial-style teaching, using everyday language and relatable case-studies to breakdown otherwise complex principles, theories and concepts.

Boye and his fellow instructors believe that the private sector is the bedrock of a competition-driven society; however, small business entrepreneurs, who form the majority of this sector, do not have ready access to basic and fundamental marketing strategies, to deploy at each phase of their business journey.

Whilst Boye is the chief instructor, the platform parades other instructors and is open to collaborate with instructors who share his vision: a world in which the small business owner has easy access to world-class marketing advisory, in other words, marketing simplified for all!
